Established in the spirit of “Righteous Virtue, Utilization, and Good Life” taken from The Age of Great Harmony by Confucius, we hope to achieve the state of “Growing up young, Growing up strong, and Growing old in the end, through the development of science and technology. This has been the ideal world in Chinese culture for thousands of years. We think “Growing old in the end” with security and dignity, is especially worthy of attention. Although there is no direct correlation between the world trend of academic and technological development and what we define as "geriatric welfare technology", the technology for the elderly (or ageing technology) that has received much attention in recent years from advanced countries around the world and in the West share the same goal pursued by our institute.
