Our department aims to teach students basic knowledge of audiology and speech-language pathology, and pragmatic clinical abilities. With the latest teaching equipment and cooperation with Mackay Memorial Hospital, we are able to provide students an entire set of clinical trainings. Other than the clinical service abilities, we also focus on training the personality accomplishment of the students.

These are the main goals of our teaching:

• Cultivate the ability to provide clinical services for audiology and speech language pathology
• Inculcate in students the desire to engage in special educational work and services to address hearing and speech language disabilities
• Train students to become leaders in community health care for audiology and speech language pathology
• Equip students with the essential skills to engage in fundamental research
• Empower students to engage in lifelong, self-motivated learning
