The faculties and administrators of Graduate Institute of Long-Term Care, MacKay Medical University welcome students, patients, educators, health care professionals, clinicians and researchers from all types of backgrounds to join our team. The mission of the Graduate Institute of Long-Term Care is to follow the spirits of Dr. Mackay and to provide the highest quality of care to improve the health of aging adults, disables and their society by creating, translating and disseminating knowledge through education and research.

	Goals
•	Develop the excellent professionals of long-term care and treasure the coordination of team members.
•	Construct the scope of this program including holistic and continuous long-term care practice, education, management and research at homes, communities and multi-dimensions of long-term care facilities.
•	Provide courses with diversities which include management, quality of care, policy development, research, holistic care, symptom interventions, promotion of active aging, and career expanding and planning.

	Health promotion and maintenance for the patients and their families with disability and dementia.
•	Hospice care
	Terminal care of patients and their families with disability and dementia.
•	Research and development of assistive products
	To design authentication, certification and promotion of universal assistive devices.
•	Administration and management
	Design, administration and management of multiple models of long-term care service and environment.
