Educational Philosophy

Education is a process of developing one's potential, stimulating creativity, developing relationships between people and the environment, and emphasizing the interaction between people and the environment.

Only by attaching importance to the cultivation of personality and taking into account the cultivation of attitude, emotion, morality and ethics in the learning of knowledge and skills can we cultivate talents who love and respect life, have deep care for the people in society, value teamwork, have both humanities and technology, have a macro perspective, are able to learn independently and throughout their lives, and love to serve the society.

The Institute hopes to train various types of long-term care professionals, such as nurses, social workers, respiratory therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, pharmacists, nutritionists, etc., to possess the above-mentioned abilities so as to engage in long-term care practice, management, policy making and teaching.
